To stretch your legs, a walk along the River Swale to Easby Abbey is a real treat, while you can also easily join sections of the Pennine Way for more of a challenge. If cycling is more your style, hire a bike and cycle to the drystone walls of Arkengarthdale and James Herriot country or try the gentle Keld to Reeth route. Upon your arrival in Reeth, you will find a variety of welcoming tearooms, shops, pubs and a market selling local produce ready for you to refuel.
